Final leaf has manuscript notes on and bibliographic references to the continuation of the text of book 9 in later publications, written in the hand of John Mitchell (ca. 1685-1751), librarian to Sir Richard Ellys (1682-1742). Binding: eighteenth-century[?] full sprinkled sheepskin (rubbed, very worn); sewn on four sewing supports; blind roll pattern along board edges; blind-tooled (faded from gilt) spine divided into five compartments, [1] and [3]-[5] with stamp decoration within fillet panel, [2] with blind (faded from gilt) title and vol. number on brown leather label; red and brown sprinkled textblock edges.
