Binding: nineteenth-century full calf; water staining on lower right corner and up fore-edge on front board; double blind fillet framework border with cornerpiece stamps; title detail of both parts of text stamped in gilt on front board: 'De jure magistratuum in subditos M.D.LXXVI.' and 'De regina Scotiae disceptatio'; gilt roll pattern on board edges; blind-tooled spine; red bookblock edges; new endpapers.
