Provenance: MS. on flyleaf in pencil: Winifred Hope Thomson; Black ink stamp: The National Trust founded 1895. Binding: Late nineteenth- early twentieth-century half red goat and marbled papers over boards, gilt spine title, gilt top edge, marbled endpapers, green silk bookmark. Publisher’s printed paper covers retained inside later binding.
