2 v. ; 8vo. Running number: 7688. Vol. 2 is bound with the index from the 1701 edition of Hartley's 'Catalogus universalis librorum' (ESTC T128145). Provenance: manuscript inscription in eighteenth-century hand on vol. 1 front fly-leaf: "Js. but Ds. 2 vols:". In vol. 2 the final section headed "Tome VIII. English Bibles, in folio" is annotated in a contemporary hand with manicules, underlinings and other symbols. Binding: eighteenth-century full calf; sewn on three cords; five raised bands; double gilt fillet and blind roll pattern border; blind roll pattern along board edges; gilt fillet decoration on spines; gilt title 'Hartley's Catalogus librorum' on brown leather label and gilt vol. number on spines. Red sprinkled textblock edges.
