Ink inscription to front pastedown: 'Anne Yorke / the gift of her Aunt Diana Yorke / Oct. 4th 1821' [i.e. to Anne Yorke (1810-1853), wife of Charles S.T. Birch, daughter of Simon Yorke II (1771-1834) from Diana York (1783-1855), daughter of Philip Yorke I (1743-1804)] $zEarly nineteenth-century half mottled calf over marbled boards, spine with eight gilt rules, blue morocco label to upper cover, tooled and lettered gilt: Harp Music; corners and spine ends eroded, edges rubbed.

Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
