2 v. : fold. plan ; 4to. Running number: 7469. Water-staining at head of some leaves in both vols. Vol. 2 wormed throughout, more extensive damage at the rear. Provenance: armorial bookplate on front pastedown in vol. 1, anonymous (not listed in Franks): arms of John Hobart, 2nd Earl of Buckinghamshire (1723-1793) and his second wife Caroline Conolly (ca. 1755-1817, m. 1770), with Buck and Talbot supporters, and earl's coronet. Bookplate removed from vol. 2 front pastedown, manuscript visible on pasted down side. Binding: eighteenth-century full sprinkled calf (rubbed); sewn on six raised bands; gilt roll pattern along board edges; double gilt fillets on spines; gilt title on reddish-brown goatskin label and gilt vol. number on spines. Red sprinkled textblock edges.
