[i.e. catalogue code of John Mitchell (ca. 1685-1751), librarian to Sir Richard Ellys (1682-1742)]; "Mr Durand" [i.e. catalogue entry note written by John Mitchell (ca. 1685-1751)]; and Mitchell's manuscript code at foot of leaf: "ιβ'." [i.e. iota beta' = Greek number 12]. Manuscript bookseller's code[?] on front pastedown: "o-v". Binding: eighteenth-century full mottled calf; sewn on six raised bands; double gilt fillet border; gilt zig-zag roll pattern along board edges; gold-tooled spine; gilt title on brown goatskin label on spine. Red sprinkled textblock edges.
