Being 196 prints of buildings, some of them very large". Provenance: manuscript inscription on front fly-leaf: "196. Prints" [i.e. collation note written by John Mitchell (ca. 1685-1751), librarian to Sir Richard Ellys (1682-1742)]. Binding: eighteenth-century full mottled calf (rubbed); sewn onto six supports; gilt roll pattern along board edges; gold-tooled spine; gilt title on brown sheepskin label on spine: 'Oeuvr de Marot'. Red sprinkled textblock edges.
