The second edition. [10],414p., [4] leaves of plates : ill. ; 8vo. Eighteenth-century ink manuscript on St Augustin on first endpaper. Occasional light text marking and annotation. Provenance: non-indigenous. Inscribed tp verso: J Lawes 1806. Endpaper inscribed: “Mrs Perrott gave me this book 1890. James Cross Vicar Sturminster Marshall”. Cross has added further notes regarding former ownership, dated 1925. Binding: eighteenth-century blind panelled calf; four raised bands. (Top section of spine wanting.)
