[1276] p. ; 4to. Ephemera: two scraps of paper loosely inserted to act as markers, with pencil notes and references on one of these. Provenance: manuscript inscriptions on front free endpaper: "R.L. Doughty new bound 1815 / Septr 24th" and "Robert Lee Doughty died Saturday the 26th June 1819 - A[e]tat sua 70." [i.e. Robert Lee Doughty (d. 1819), uncle of Vice-Admiral William Lukin, later William Lukin Windham, (1768-1833)]. Binding: nineteenth-century full calf, 'Cambridge panel' style; blind tooling; gilt rolled outer border; sewn onto five raised bands; gilt fillets on spine; red title label (gilt lettered): 'Holy Bible'; edge rolled in gilt; gilt edges; buff endpapers. Re-bound 1815, according to inscription on front free endpaper.
