Loose inserts: leaf with ink manuscript notes (v.1, p.299); 2 leaves of notes in unknown hand (probably eighteenth-century) (v.2, p.468-9, 523). Provenance: 'William Windham Esq;' in list of subscribers; annotation in v.1 appears to be in the hand of William Windham (1717-1761); with his armorial bookplate in v.2. Binding: eighteenth-century Cambridge-style panelled calf; five raised bands; gilt tooled spines & board edges; text block edge sprinkled red; gilt lettered & numbered: Saunderson's Algebra Vol. 1. (V.2 missing spine label). (Boards loose on both vols.; damp staining.)
