Binding: eighteenth-century full mottled calf; sewn onto six sewing supports; six raised bands; single gilt fillet border; gilt saw-tooth roll pattern along board edges; gold-tooled spine, with fillet, roll and stamp decoration; brown goatskin title label on spine; third panel on spine replaced with gold-tooled black goatskin. Red sprinkled bookblock edges. Comb and swirl-marbled endpapers.
