Ketton-Cremer" [i.e. Robert Wyndham Ketton-Cremer (1906-1969)] and "Felbrigg 1955". Manuscript inscription at head of title page: "S Hemming". One manuscript correction to text in footnote on p. 189, Cambridge crossed-out and replaced with "Oxford", thought to be in Horace Walpole's hand (see also in Yale copy in the Walpole Library). Binding: eighteenth-century full sprinkled sheepskin; sewn onto five sewing supports; single gilt fillet border; spine repaired and rebacked in sheepskin; gold-tooled spine; gilt title on reddish-brown leather label on spine. Red sprinkled textblock edges.
