[i.e. catalogue code of John Mitchell (ca. 1685-1751), librarian to Sir Richard Ellys (1682-1742)]. Binding: eighteenth-century full mottled calf; sewn onto five sewing supports; double gilt fillet border; gilt roll pattern along board edges; gold-tooled spine, with gilt fillet panels in which are floral and other stamps, and gilt roll pattern at head, foot and along the five raised bands; gilt title on brown sheepskin label on spine. Brown and red mottled edges on textblock.
