Binding: seventeenth-century blind- and gold-tooled full vellum over boards; sewn onto four tawed leather sewing supports; framework of double blind fillets on covers, consisting of a border frame joined at the corners to an inner concentric frame; gilt oval centerpiece stamp containing foliate and strapwork decoration on both covers; two pairs of green ribbon ties; foredges folded-over; gilt title on brown sheepskin[?] label on spine: 'Rosini Antiquitates cum notis variorum'; very faint manuscript title at head of spine; head and tail of spine cracked (tail partially missing). Red sprinkled edges on textblock.
