Binding: nineteenth-century full gold-tooled tan calf; sewn onto three supports; framework of two double gilt fillets as a border, between which is a gilt floral roll pattern and floral cornerpiece stamps; gilt roll pattern along board edges; five raised bands on spine; gold-tooled spine, with floral, crown and other stylised stamps within fillet panels, floral roll at head and tail; gilt title and place/date of imprint on green goatskin labels on spine. Orange and blue shell pattern marbled endpapers.
