Binding: eighteenth-century full, polished, reddish-brown calf; sewn onto five sewing supports; double gilt fillet border with gilt cornerpiece stamps; gilt floral roll pattern along board edges; gold-tooled spine, with stamp, fillet and roll decoration; gilt title on brown goatskin label. Brown sprinkled edges. Comb- and swirl-marbled endpapers.
