Inscribed on upper pastedown in pencil: "Ashton Mosley" [poss. Ashton Moseley (1821-1887), uncle of Col. Godfrey Mosley (1863-1945), son of Rev. Rowland Mosley and Jane Every, m. Hilda Crewe in 1918]; "Nicholas Mosley" [not identified]. Binding: Seventeenth-century full polished calf, double blind fillet forming a border, fleur-de-lys corner pieces. Sewn on three recessed leather thongs, blind fillets on spine, spine label missing[?]. Both boards detached. In phase box.
