Binding: Seventeenth-century full calf, quarter blind quadruple rule; blind double rule forming a border, gilt-tooled board edges. Sewn on five raised cords. Blind double rule on spine. Spine label wanting. Volume number 1 direct in gilt on spine. Text-block edges mottled red. Upper board detached, leather rather worn and stained. Some insect damage in initial gatherings at the foot of the text-block.
