Binding: Eighteenth-century full sprinkled calf, blind panel stamp with cornerpieces on covers, double blind fillet forming a border, blind-tooled board edges. Sewn on three raised cords (with two additional false raised bands). Gilt tooled on spine, with vol. number direct in gilt: "Vol. VIII". Spine label (wanting), lettered "Shakespear restored". Text-block densely mottled red. Boards loose.
