6 v., plates : ill. ; 4to. Imperfect: wanting vol. 6. Provenance: Eighteenth-century armorial bookplate: "Sr. Henry Harpur Bart" [i.e. Sir Henry Harpur, 5th Baronet, (1708-1748)]. Binding: Eighteenth-century full sprinkled, blind panel stamp with corner pieces on covers. Sewn on three raised cords (with two additional false raised bands). Blind-tooled board edges. Gilt-tooled on spine, vol. numbers direct in gilt on spine, brown leather spine labels (mostly wanting), lettered "Shakespear's works". Text-block edges sprinkled red. Some boards damaged or detached.
