Garter Principal King of Arms, is the property of GEORGE FREDERICK BELTZ Lancaster and JAMES PULMAN Portcullis, and the Survivor of them, the same having been purchased by them with a Legacy appropriated for that purpose in a Codicil to his Will', followed in ink: `purchased Feby. 1860 by Rt. Laurie, [illegible]'. A few amendments in ink. Binding: Seventeenth-century brown leather over boards, sewn onto three bands, detached from boards; two fillets.
