Manuscript inscription on title page: "T: Hassey:" [probably Sir Thomas Hussey (1639-1706), 2nd Bt., of Doddington Hall, whose daughter and co-heir Elizabeth Hussey (1687/8-1724) married Sir Richard Ellys (1682-1742), whose library is now at Blickling Hall]. Binding: seventeenth-century calf (rubbed); blind double fillet border, with additional double fillet parallel to spine-edge and with floral cornerpiece stamps; blind roll pattern along board edges; blind double fillets on spine. Red sprinkled edges.
