Provenance: armorial bookplate, lettered William Lukin [i.e. Vice-Admiral William Lukin, later William Lukin Windham (1768 –1833)]. Binding: eighteenth-century full polished calf sewn onto five raised bands; triple blind fillets on boards, gold-tooled on spine; red and black title and volume labels; marbled endpapers and edges.
