Binding: seventeenth-century calf; blind thin thick thin fillet border; large blind decorative centrepiece stamp; blind fillet on board edges, with two-way diagonal hatching adjacent to the spine typical of Oxford bindings; blind-tooled spine, with fillets adjacent to the four raised bands and diagonal hatching at the head and foot. Head of spine torn off. Red stained edges. Binder's printed waste (late sixteenth- or early seventeenth-century, in italics) at front and rear.
