Provenance: nineteenth century armorial bookplate with crest depicting a lion statant with tail extended and the Talbot motto "Prest d'accomplir" on front pastedown. Seventeenth? century manuscript inscription "212", possibly a previous shelfmark, on title page. Pencilled nineteenth? century manuscript price inscription "5/" on front pastedown. Binding: seventeenth/eighteenth century vellum over boards; gilt tooled title label reading "Discordis Saraceni" on spine; original? green silk bookmark; text block edges stained red.
