Occasional seventeenth? century manuscript marginal annotations throughout. Binding: seventeenth? century stiffened vellum; fore-edges of covers pierced for ties (parts of original? green silk ties remain); manuscript title "Guicciardini La historia" in a capitalized eighteenth century Roman hand on spine.
