Provenance: nineteenth century manuscript inscription "C. H. Talbot Lacock Abbey", i.e. Charles Talbot, 1842-1916, on recto of first free end-paper. Nineteenth century manuscript inscription "(Thos. Green, Barrister of Ipswich)" on title page. Binding: nineteenth century half green calf with marbled paper covers; gilt tooling and gilt tooled title "Diary of a lover of literature" on spine; text block edges sprinkled brown.
