Substantial marginal annotation, perhaps by Gardner Wilkinson, on pp. 1-63 and 100-101 of vol. 1. Some water-staining throughout. Worm damage on pp. 111-140 of vol. 1 (heavy) and pp. 237-266 of vol. 2, with some loss of text. Provenance: Gardner Wilkinson Library (no bookplate) [i.e. Sir John Gardner Wilkinson (1795-1875)]. Signature at foot of title-page: 'J.G. Wilkinson'.
