Provenance: nineteenth century armorial bookplate with crest depicting a lion statant with tail extended and the Talbot motto "Prest d'accomplir" on front pastedown. Nineteenth century manuscript price inscription "28/" on recto of first free end-paper. Binding: nineteenth century publisher's binding in textured green cloth over boards; gilt stamped vignette and title "Asia Minor" on upper board; gilt tooling and gilt tooled title "Asia Minor by Charles Fellows" on spine.
