Raymond Marwood Coad, - born July 4th 1893. Margaret Blanche Isabella, - born November 15th 1894. Alice Elizabeth - born August 9th 1896. Wilfrid Henry - born July 21st 1898. Marlette Eleanor - born February 27th 1900. Alfred - born May 16th 1903. Reginald Thomas - born January 8th 1907"; and deaths "Marlette Eleanor, died April 12th 1900 (aged 6 weeks). Alfred, died May 17th 1903 (aged 1 day)". Binding: publisher's[?] blind and gold embossed black sheepskin; gold title panel 'The Holy Bible illustrated' on upper cover (the "H" in red, the "B" in blue). Brass cornerpieces, on upper board with catches, on lower board with pair of brass clasps. Blind embossed spine, with gold title. All edges gilt.
Provenance
A gift to the National Trust from S. Treseder, November 2011, who gave this Bible to Lanhydrock because of its connection to the house.
