The 30-page epitome in vol.1 is misbound between pp. xii and [xiii], as in one of the BL copies. Vol. 1 sale catalogue entry and price notes on front endpaper: 2 vols. £5.10.0. Additional portrait plate affixed to vol. 1 endpaper: Alice daughter of Jno. Sherman Esqr. of Ottery St. Mary ... A.D. 1599. Binding: eighteenth-century calf; double gilt fillet border; rebacked, nineteenth-century, spine entirely replaced.
