Nineteenth-century small armorial book plate on upper pastedown, lettered "Calke Abbey Library" [associated with George Crewe, 8th Baronet (1795-1844) and his son John Harpur Crewe, 9th Baronet (1824-1886)]. Binding: Eighteenth-century full diced calf, double gilt fillet forming a border on covers. Five receseed cords, gilt tooled and lettered on spine "Ferguson's Institutes". Green endpapers. Spine broken at the boards. With book ribbon.
