Binding: eighteenth-century polished calf; gilt armorial centrepiece stamp of the arms of Karl Heinrich, Graf von Hoym (1694-1736) (Boyet and Du Seuil were Hoym’s binders); single gilt fillet on board edges; gilt roll pattern on turn-ins; gold-tooled spine, with floral stamp decoration, and gilt title label. Red stained edges. Marbled endpapers.
