Fragment only: the verses headed “The minde of the frontispeece, and argument of this worke.” With a sheet of typed notes by Dennis Mabey (December 2001), relating Gill Mabey's discovery of the leaf in the 1980s and his research into its origin; the edition was identified by the British Library. Loan. Provenance: Bromham Parochial Library, but without a former Bromham shelfmark and not listed in 1959 catalogue. On verso of fragment: seventeenth-century inscriptions, including R. Killigrew [i.e. Sir Robert Killigrew (1579-1633)], and (several times) Nuttall Humphrey (b. 1617, B.A. Cambridge 1636/7)].
