Manuscript inscription on front fly-leaf: "R Sallern [or Sullern]". Binding: seventeenth-century panelled sprinkled calf; double blind fillet border; single panel of single blind fillets and blind roll pattern, with blind cornerpiece stamps; blind roll pattern on board edges; gilt title label on spine.
