Structure: BritishEdges: palin cut, spirnkled with red and blue pigment, polished Spine Lining: moderate round, quadrant jonits, transverse parchment linings End Bands: worked L-R 4x4 in green and cream silk over rolled paper core.Bookmark: NoneBoards: 5mm paper laminate board, no back cornering, all slips laced in.Covering: full cream calf parchment linend with white handmade laid paper (spine lined separately onto back edges of boards) Tooling Spine: gold-tooled 1-fillet at head and tail of each panel and across bnads, and above and below a band of blind-tooled cross hatching at head and tail, gold-tooled rosette in centre of each panel, late 18th-century red leather lettering piece in panel 2m, titled in gold.Tooling Sides: gold-tooled 2 fillet border and doubled frame with small Amsterdam arms at corner and large Amserdam arms block in centre.
