Manuscript price in pencil on second front fly-leaf: "1696 Leyden £1/10/". Manuscript initials on rear pastedown: "BK". Binding: late seventeenth-century panelled calf; double blind fillet border; single panel formed by triple blind fillets, with blind cornerpiece stamps; gilt roll pattern on board edges. Rebacked in sheepskin, with blind-tooled decoration and gilt title on spine.
