Summary
Indian decoration in gold tinsel with a padded ribbon handle in silver, attached to a decorative bird on each side in gold, green and pink foil detail, wrapping bird body with wood supports for corded and foiled wing and tail. On the ends of the wing and tail are wrapped beads and tinsel ends. The left-hand bird is missing its tail feather and has three beaded tassels with tinsel ends, and the right-hand bird is missing its beak. The design continues with a paper ball wrapped with foil, evidence on both that some has come off. The right side has green and pink foil, the left having gold and green. Each side has three tassels and one large tassel on each side. The tassels are tinsel and red foil, star shaped, with foil-wrapped large beads to separate each tassel. The cord is of cotton.
