Summary
Ornately decorated Indian festival decoration, in three separate sections. The top section appears to be made of plant stems or rushes, fashioned into a round piece and bowed. They are covered with red velvet, then decorated with gold decoration in a spiral design of purple base with silver floral design. Suspended at either end are maroon tassels, a ceramic gold cone and decorative disc. The elongated sections are covered with red velvet with green foil paper running vertically, both decorated with gold braid beads and sequins. Silver braid and pearls run vertically. There is a pompom at the base in gold tinsel and pearls. Overall it is in very delicate conditon. The overall colour is red and gold.
