Summary
Ornately decorated Indian festival decoration, in three separate sections. The top section appears to be made of plant stems or rushes, fashioned into a round piece and bowed. They are covered in green velvet with gold sequins sewn sparsely in a floral design, with a painted gold design between. Suspended at either end is a bell-shaped pompom, and a disc, that also appear at the bottom. All three pompoms are present, each having gold foil tops, covered with vertical strings of pearls, with green foil bases. The right one is detached, the bottom one is missing. The elongated side sections have red vertical strips decorated with gold beaded embroidery separated by green foil strips with pearls. The backs are covered with gold coloured paper. Green foil winged decoration is attached to the left side, decorated with gold beads and a red and gold crown at the top. Very delicate condition. Overall colours green, gold and red.
