Summary
Ornately decorated Indian festival decoration, in three separate sections. The top section appears to be made of plant stems or rushes, fashioned into a round piece and bowed. They are covered in green velvet with gold sequins sewn sparsely in a floral design, with a painted gold design between. Suspended at either end is a bell-shaped pompom, and a disc, that also appear at the bottom. All three pompoms are present, each having red tops and green bases. The elongated side sections have vertical strips of black with gold leaf and flower designs, with a string of pearls between. They also have paper gold beaded strips, some of which are not attached. The bottom pompom is detached. On the right, is a green and pink winged shape, decorated with gold beads and pearls. Very delicate condition. Overall colours green, black and red.
