Provenance: manuscript inscriptions in black ink on front free endpaper: 'George Wm Blathwayt, May 4 1773.' and 'George Blathwaite 23 […] Dorsetshire' [= Rev. George William Blathwayt (1759-1806)] Binding: eighteenth-century finely sprinkled tan leather over boards; sewn on three cords with five false bands; decorative gold tooling to spine including floral motif; red leather spine label with 'Duncan's Cicero's Orations' in gold.
