Binding: Eighteenth-/early nineteenth-century full red straight-grained morocco; gilt borders with rose and crown tools in corners; gilt centrepiece on upper and lower boards: royal monogram GRRG [presumably George III], with cherubs and a crown above and lettered ‘Chapel Royal St. James’s’ below; spine gilt with lyre and floral tools; five raised bands; gilt rolled board edges and turn-ins; gilt textblock edges; concealed fore-edge painting of Windsor Castle; marbled endpapers; dark blue ribbon marker.
