(which does contain descriptions and list). This English edition is described as “Vol. II” on binding; the French as “Vol. I”. Plates are bound in a different order. Binding: Nineteenth-century full red straight-grained morocco over boards; gilt rool-tools and fillets to form a border and inner border; spine gilt with title ‘Worlidge’s Gems. Vol. I’; sewn on five raised double bands. Binder’s ticket: Upham & Beet, 46 New Bond St, London.
