Provenance: manuscript number between two horizontal lines in black ink on rear fly-leaf: "300". Binding: seventeenth-century full sprinkled sheepskin (very worn, rubbed and scraped in places); sewn onto six sewing supports; six raised bands; gilt foliate roll pattern along board edges; gold-tooled spine, with roll and floral stamp decoration; gilt title lettered directly onto spine. Red and green mottled bookblock edges. Placard pattern marbled paper pastedowns.
