M de Montausier, 3 or 4 years before their marriage, sent her the 'garland to Julie'. Every flower that grows was illumined on vellum.". - Typed note pasted on to flyleaf on headed notepaper: "Telph. Stat Flax Bourton Tyntesfield Bristol." " A few copies of the 'Guirlande de Julie' were printed by Messre Didot on vellum for the purposes of illustration. This copy was illustrated by Miss Lawrence a celebrated flower painter; it belonged to Mr. Astle, who left it to Mrs. Marryat of Wimbledon, the wife of Capt.
