[[8],215,[7] p?] . 8vo.. Imperfect: lacks all before p.49 (D1) and after p.160 (K8).. Binding: Sewn on 3 tawed supports. Sewing disintegrated. Seventeenth-century sheep, clumsily blind-tooled with fillet frame and unusual oval scrollwork centrepiece. (Uniform with Virgil, Works, 1613 at F.7.40). Stamped, in ink? in corners of boards with vases of flowers, some now rubbed off: perhaps an amateur addition? Very large raised bands on spine. Provincial work? Single pair of red worsted, twill-weave ties attached through slits in foredge - nineteenth century? Bookshoe.
