Seventeenth-century limp vellum, with gold-tooled fillet frame and fine, floral, centrepiece tooled on boards. Gilt edges. Stubs of two pairs of cream silk ties in holes on fore edge of wrapper. Disused stitching holes in gutter margin. Nineteenth-century endpapers, pastedowns and spine lettering.
