Provenance: In ink on endpaper 'Hannibal Gamon eandem ex dono clarissimi et praestantissimi viri [crossed out] Nicolas Glanvill'. Further inscriptions bearing both names on both sides of leaf. Gamon = Hannibal Gamon (1582?-1651), Rector of St. Mawgan in Pydar. In ink on fore edge, orientated to be read with book lying flat, 'N G'. (?probably. 'N' reversed). Binding: Sewn on four tawed supports. Seventeenth-century calf, blind tooled with frame of filets on boards, and large centrepiece. Single hatching tooled on head and tail of spine. Edges stained yellow. With printed waste as endpapers, containing the index to a work by J. Pomerius. Black letter, early sixteenth-century, possibly earlier, perhaps German printing.
